Curve Appeal; A Fashion Revolution

June 2011 Italian Vogue
When we think of the words "fashion" and "model," our minds automatically think of slim, tall and beautiful women and in our society these images are engraved into our heads. What women are forgetting is that beauty has no size, it is something that is inside each and very person and the fashion industry today is slowly realizing this fact. Plus size modeling and fashion has been on the rise and we are now seeing more and more companies catering to the average woman. Being a "plus size" no longer means you have to wear that frumpy scoop neck t-shirt from Wal-Mart. It's time to trash those unfaltering cuts and prints and step into the clothes that reflects your true beauty!

As a curvy girl I can say it is a little difficult to find those amazing styles, so below is a list of different stores with amazing plus size collections.

Their collection has all the latest trends and styles that are perfect for the full figured woman.

2.  Forever 21+
Forever 21 is a great place to find great clothes and accessories. Their 21+ line features size 14 and up.

3. Torrid
This store is designed for the plus size woman, from jeans to dresses for a night on the town.

4. SimplyBe
Ranging from size 10-28, this online store has great prices and the latest UK fashion trends.

5. The Plus Size Fashion Experts
This online store allows you to shop the Addition Elle and Penningtons Plus collection. The Addition Elle line represents a more mature plus size woman while Penningtons Plus is aimed towards the young adult.

6.  Modcloth
For the vintage lover, modcloth offers retro and vintage fashions.

Just because you are not a size 00, it doesn't mean you can't have fun with fashion. Play around with different shapes and colors to see what works best for you.
